DNA Fingerprinting Recent Developments

There are a lot of recent developments in this field. The most common one is that DNA fingerprinting is being used to "screen" people for problems with their genes to predict illness. When it first began, the tests were mostly done to detect diseases like Cystic Fibrosis. It was very clear to scientists that Cystic Fibrosis could be pinpointed to a specific part of a persons DNA and their method proved correct every single time.
